Zayane Creations Trust recently conducted a business training session for its staff and women entrepreneurs, held in collaboration with Solar Village. The session was designed to strengthen business skills and promote sustainable growth among the women we work with in Chimwaza, Jambawe, and Kendekeza villages.

The training was both insightful and practical, with the facilitator using simple and relatable examples to help participants understand key business concepts. One of the most impactful lessons was the importance of asking “why” up to five times when a business is not performing well, instead of giving up too quickly. This reflective approach helps identify the real causes of challenges and encourages problem-solving and resilience.

This training was organized deliberately to equip women involved in the mushroom farming project, supported by the Segal Family Foundation, with skills to manage and grow their enterprises. In addition, other women engaged in different types of businesses also benefited from the session, gaining valuable knowledge on how to improve their operations and adapt to challenges.

Zayane Creations Trust remains committed to empowering women with the skills, confidence, and mindset needed to build successful and sustainable businesses that uplift their families and communities.
